Our MasterClass sessions feature special guests who are industry leaders. Both of these gentlemen were valueable collaborators on the original bit video. Geoff Tucker DVM, or "Doc T", is a Cornell graduate and has been working in the horse biz for over 50 years. He's concentrated on equine dentistry since the 90's and has performed over 80k equine dental floats/exams. He's a wealth of information and shares it liberally on his podcast and platform, The Horse's Advocate.

Jeremiah Watt is a craftsman and pioneer. He's a master of several arts, but for our purposes, it's his bit building that we capitalize on. Along with his wife, Colleen, they run Ranch2arena.com and have probably sold more spade bits than anyone on the planet. Jeremiah is the person who put me onto galvanization and is truly a mind worth listening to.

The modules are broken up into lessons, much like my 20s. The lessons are generally between 5 and 20 minutes, so it's easy to go through the course in smaller parts. You can mark off what you've finished and it'll keep track of where you are. The material is not hard to watch. It's broken down so that everything is clear, but there's also a lot of humor and brain breaks peppered throughout. There's flat out some stuff in here that you're not going to believe a clinician did, let alone filmed and put out into the wild. So, no, it's not hard to watch, and not dry at all.

To watch all the content of the Self-Guided course is about 15 hours. There's also a 67 page study guide that's meant for you to fill out as you watch. So, we'd expect you to pause every so often and write in the study guide. So, it's hard to say, but an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes per week should see you through it all. You could also binge your way through it in a weekend. Honestly, there's a lot of information in here, so it's up to you as to how much you value that information. Most people actually report watching all of the content more than once. 

There is the ability to make comments on each lesson. So you can comment specifically that at 4:35 you didn't understand what I said.

There's also the community feature. That's set up for participants to bond, ask and answer questions, and put up pictures of weird bits they've found or are curious about for me to explain and break down.

You can also always email me with a simple question or two, or pay for a private zoom call to pick away at my brain if you have more than I can tackle in a few minutes.

There are 2 consistent themes in the feedback. 

-People tell me part way into the course that it has way more in it than they were expecting. 

-People comment near the end of the course that they had no idea how much they did not know about bits.

You'll be asked to film yourself riding at the start. This is because realizinging you knew less than you'd thought about a topic tends to make people insecure. You'll do another video of you riding at the end. Many people feel less confident about their riding skills at the end. The new awareness you'll have can be a hard pill to swallow for some, even though their horse is far happier. Hence the video and objective proof of how much better they are riding. The Dunning-Kruger effect is at play.

The decision to limit participants on time is one that I was initially against. The reason is that the statistics of self-guided online courses say that they are finished only 3% of the time.

Our hope is that by knowing there's a deadline, you'll keep the momentum going and make sure to finish so you haven't wasted your money. So far, we've had over a 90% completion rate, so it seems to be working. I have actually just added several weeks to the time as we did have some who didn't finish over Christmas and needed more time. We want to deliver value and we're not here to nickel and dime people. If there appears to be a problem several people have had, we adjust to make it work better.

• Access to Daniel is the biggest one. The Self-Guided course is available anytime. We run MasterClass courses 3-4 times per year. Every MasterClass has a waitlist and start date.
• We go through the entire course over 10 weeks and have a live MasterClass meeting each of those weeks to tackle that week's material, and any other questions the group might have. Daniel doesn't end those until the group is out of questons and they typically last about 2.5 hrs each. So, MasterClass courses each tie up a minimum of 25 hours of Daniel's time where he's picking the information apart and expanding on it even more for the group. This is all recorded and uploaded back into that group's course so if anyone misses a live call, they don't miss out.
• Access to the course for a full year. That's because the MasterClass course is really aimed at professionals. You can test for certification as a Master Bitter upon completion, and even go back and study and retest if it turns out there are holes in your understanding.
• Additionally, there are 2 more modules of content and more pages of study guide. These extra modules are aimed at showing how to do a consultation and some real world things that we can help people do better on. These participants also have the community to lean on and give back to.

We've already had several people go this route. First of all, you won't pay full freight for the MasterClass after you've already paid for this version.

Secondly, those people have had more time to absorb and process the information, so they often have even more questions to ask than those going through for the first time. If money is tight and you need to save up for the MasterClass, this IS a practical strategy.

Not at all. Do understand that everything is in English, so you need to speak and read English. Beyond that, we've already had people from all around the world go through the course.
